Delivery & Returns

1)  Delivery Costs.

1.1. Delivery to the UK is FREE for all orders over £40.00. For orders under £40.00, we charge a flat fee of £2.95 regardless of destination or weight.

1.2. We are happy to supply to Europe and the rest of the world. All European and International Orders will be charged at cost and will be sent by Air Mail using European/International signed for services. This service ensures we can keep track of your order at all times and will require a signature on receipt of goods. Please email us at sales@eclatcrafts.com for further details and costs before placing your order.

1.3. We do not charge for delivery of Gift Vouchers.

2)  Delivery Times.

2.1. We endeavour to offer a fast service and normally aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days after clearance of payment, although this cannot be guaranteed during exceptionally busy periods.

2.2. Orders received after 5pm are deemed to have been received by us on the following morning. Orders received after 5pm on Friday are deemed to have been received by us on the following Monday morning. Goods are only dispatched out on working days.

2.3. For delivery within the UK Éclat Crafts uses Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery or a reputable Courier for all orders, so under normal circumstances we would anticipate goods to be delivered the next working day. However, we cannot guarantee delivery times and we cannot be held responsible for delays by the Royal Mail or the Courier Company.

2.4. For delivery to Europe and rest of the world we dispatch by Air Mail using European/International signed for services. Delivery times will vary from country to country.

2.5. Any dates specified by the seller for the delivery of goods are intended to be an estimate and time of delivery shall not be made of the essence.  However, the seller will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the buyer through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.  In this case, the seller will inform the buyer as soon as possible.

2.6. Goods will be sent to the address specified by the buyer in your order. The seller will take no responsibility if the buyer gives an incorrect delivery address, so please ensure the correct address is written. The delivery address that the buyer specifies MUST be one where somebody is there in the daytime to receive the goods, and it is the buyer’s obligation to make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Éclat Crafts will notify you by email or telephone when your order has been dispatched and by which delivery service.

2.7. Please note there are occasions when your goods may be sent to you in installments.

2.8. Title to any product ordered will pass to the buyer once Éclat Crafts has received payment in full for that product. Risk in any product ordered will pass upon delivery to you.

3) Cancellation And Returns.

3.1. The Buyer shall inspect the goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the seller via email at returns@eclatcrafts.com or by telephone within 48 hours of delivery if the goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the contract. Please have your full name, delivery address and order number ready as this will help us tract your order more efficiently. If the buyer fails to contact Éclat Crafts within 48 hours, the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods. Please do not return any goods to us without contacting us first.

3.2. All orders are doubled checked prior to dispatch to help prevent any errors occurring.

3.3. All goods leave Éclat Crafts in perfect condition and we take great care to ensure that they are packaged correctly in order to prevent damage to your goods whilst in transit. We strongly recommend taking a photograph of any damage and retaining packaging to assist any claim for compensation should your goods arrive damaged.

3.4. In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Éclat Crafts shall, at its own option and discretion, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods in question PROVIDED THAT you notify Éclat Crafts of the problem within 48 hours of delivery of the goods as stated above in 3.1.

3.5. If you wish to return an item(s) bought from Éclat Crafts. With prior authorisation and within 7 working days of receipt you may return any item(s) purchased together with a copy of your invoice indicating the item(s) returned. All goods returned must be unopened in their original packaging and as new in resalable condition (and we do check thoroughly as we cannot sell used goods). Once Éclat Crafts receive the goods in the condition that they were in when delivered to you, any sum debited to Éclat Crafts in relation to your order will be re-credited to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days. If any goods arrive in a non-saleable condition, we will not offer a refund of any kind.

3.6. Should the error be that of the buyer then Éclat Crafts reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20% and charge any postal costs that were incurred in the delivery of the goods to the buyer. Should the error be by Éclat Crafts then a refund will be issued subject to reason and the final decision will be made by us the seller.

3.7. You must pay the postage cost of the returned goods unless the error is on the side of Éclat Crafts, when any reasonable postage costs incurred in the return of the item(s) will be refunded. You are responsible for their safety during transportation. On returning goods to Éclat Crafts please obtain a Certicate of Proof of Posting from the Post Office as we cannot be held liable for goods you are returning to us that go missing or become damaged in transit. We strongly recommend all your goods are returned by Recorded Delivery to ensure signed receipt. Some items do not travel well in a Jiffy bag, so please ensure all returns are packed in suitable packaging and returned in a re – saleable condition.

3.8. If your order qualified for free postage and packaging and you decide to return some of the items that would then bring your order below the free postage line. We will refund your goods minus our standard postage charge of £2.95.

3.9. We cannot guarantee the suitability of any of our products for a specific purpose therefore customers are asked to make their own tests before making any orders. If you ordered incorrectly or want replacement goods for returned items, this will be regarded as a new order and as such should be made through the website in the usual way which will include postage and packing at the standard rate.

3.10. Magazines, books, stencils, paper and cardstock cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3.11. Please note that Die Cuts are a made to order product and cannot be returned.

3.12. Goods that are faulty can of course be returned. Please contact us as described in 3.1 for full details of procedure. We will replace or refund faulty goods as required.

3.13. I am sorry we do not offer an exchange service.
